The high school dropout long suspected in the shooting death of a Connecticut college student at a Brooklyn house party last year has been indicted, done in by friends who testified he bragged about the murder, according to sources familiar with the case.
The arrest of Antonio Russo in the shooting of Mark Fisher only scratches the surface of discovering what exactly happened Oct. 12, 2003, officials said, but it may solve the key question the victim's parents had begged that night's party-goers to answer.
To authorities, Russo, 18, has denied any involvement in the shooting of Fisher. But on the streets of Ditmas Park, Russo was very open about his role, sources said.
"He's been bragging about what he did," a police source said. "He feels he did such a good job that he wanted everyone to know about it.
