Just got an e-mail from the Southern Povery Law Center that told me so.

But because of the need for cannon fodder, the Pentagon has gone out of its way to totally overlook it.

And to tell you the truth it's not the racists that worry me as much as the pro-theocracy robots wearing the uniform.

6. It wasn't always so.

I grew up a brat, and never really knew anything much about it because it was so foreign to me. While cities were burning in the 60s, the schools I went to had been integrated long before I started. As i got into Jr High & HS, i saw a little de facto segregation, such as kids grouping during lunch, but nobody ever got in a fight for sitting at the wrong table and there was plenty of interaction between races.

The military I grew up with, and later served in, was a genuine meritocracy and any display of racism would get you booted out real quick.

I'd hate to think that has changed.
