Abortion: Prohibited by Communist Party of Romania, but Demanded by Communist Party of PRC
Were those two legislative and law enforcement mandates ever simultaneous?

If they were simultaneous, then one way to give options to the people of a "People's Republic" would have been for Romania to import babies from China. However, it is conceivable that Romanian Marxists didn't actually consider babies of Chinese descent to be adequate substitutes for babies of Romanian descent. Alternatively, when a communist party has a legislatively mandated monopoly on power, perhaps Marxists feel free to show their true colors and demonstrate that they don't actually care whether or not the citizens have any alternatives.

1. ???
Stalin outlawed abortion in Russia, too. Not giving women a choice is all about control, whether abortion is prohibited or demanded.

2. it's obvious
Too many of the wrong people having too many children around us.

Always a great event when it's responsible parents, but seems every 16 yr old has children now. WTF?

4. The rate has gone down
What are you talking about? The teen pregnancy rate has gone down over the past few decades. Back in the 50's, it was normal for people to get married and have kids out of high school. Your statement about every 16 year old having kids is just false.

Also, I think it's great that abortion was outlawed. Good for them.
