So CNN.com just published
another article about the Ohio University students doing that "We're a culture not a costume" campaign; the top-rated comments were very hostile, usually on the lines of "lighten up" or "what's so offensive" or "wimps" or "stop being politically correct". So I've been putting up with all this BS complaining on comments section, and guess what? People who defend such stereotypes but are uncomfortable with saying "I support this bigotry" instead project their discomfort with the "politically correct" term. And even more hypocritical? If those same people say that America is a post-racial society! Those who post those comments have a sick attitude but KNOW that nothing beyond bitter rhetoric can back their position AT ALL. Compared with those Ohio students who have actual logical, historically-based evidence.
