7. Us, too. The retirement coach where I worked advised us all to do this
saying the actuarial tables proved that it is more beneficial to begin collecting at 62 as you have no idea how long you will live.

5. I took my Social Security at 62.
Right now, I'm 1 year and 4 months from getting Medicare. That will reduce my health insurance costs dramatically from the $700/mo. I'm currently paying for individual coverage. It will change my life.

6. Wow - I can't imagine the pain down there. My INCOME is less than 600/month
.
.
.

I'll be 59 in November - can pull my Canada Pension early at 60

It will be less than 600/month

Without our universal health care, I'd be dead or a major cripple by now . . .

I have NO idea how the US government justifies keeping the big Pharma and insurance companies in business.

We pay LESS per capita than the USA, and EVERY Canadian citizen is covered.

My personal opinion?

I think the USA's health system/drug companies rivals the Mafia's operations during Prohibition.

Da Gawdfawther be prowd . . .
