Favour / Oppose

Impose Social Security taxes on income above $90,000 U.S. which is the current limit 68% / 23%

Reduce both promised benefits and current taxes by allowing workers to invest some of their Social Security contributions in the stock market 47% / 48%

Raise the current rate of Social Security taxes from the total of 12 point 4 percent now paid by workers and employers 30% / 62%

When current workers retire, give them lower benefits than what they are now promised 11% / 86%
