You realize it is time to do a little rehab on the eyebrows. Look in the mirror and you can't see. Get the glasses and you still can not do a plucking job because the glasses are in the way.

I think I need a magnifying stand up mirror. Maybe then I can do the job without glasses.

1. Go to a Salon
It's quick, easy and not too many dollars to get eyebrows waxed! It's much better than looking in the mirror.:D

2. lol! Have you been spying on me? :)
Related tale.. Last week, the hub and I were going to go out to a fancy dinner, so I decided to do the full glamor schtick.. completely made up eyes, etc.. all that juggling the magnifying mirror, and taking my glasses on and off, a dozen or so times, per eye.. and in the end, I left the house looking a little like Alice Cooper after a bad night!

9. Alice Cooper? There's a sight I haven't seen for a while.
Snakes and all. I'm no glamor girl but on my worst day, I'd be better than Alice Cooper.

The vision is in mind right now. Yikes.

3. Some of us are nearsighted.
I've worn glasses since I was a little kid. So I did not go into shock when I got bifocals after 40. But I did wonder why I couldn't read the paper close up anymore, OR far away.

I was grown before I found out that nearsighted people get bifocals too.

People who are shocked because they never wore glasses before forty, are just a)lucky; and b) vain.

Free grooming advice:
Going to the nail salon and getting the eyebrows and the lip and legs waxed is a very good idea.

Also, they can do a better pedicure and sanding of your feet than you can, if you're not as flexible as you used to be.

This advice also applies to men with unibrows and too much hair in their ears and rough, callused feet. Guys, go get 'er done at the nail salon! Your bollocks will NOT drop off!!! :D

The thrones with a hot tub for your feet are WONDERFUL. :D

4. I hear ya..
I've worn glasses since kindergarten.. but my overall eye sight has deteriorated substantially, with the passing of years.. even my bifocals (which I've worn since my mid thirties) aren't quite enough, on some days.. I can still pluck my own eyebrows, but I've decided that my every day, minimal eye make up look, is still the best for me.. for so many reasons!

My husband just started wearing the over forties reading glasses.. you should hear him whine about having to do so..

8. Had laser eye surgery 10 years ago
and it was the best $2000 I ever spent. Ten years on and I can still see well at a distance without lenses, but wearing reading glasses to see up close became necessary a few years back. Since these perch on the tip of the nose, I can see the eyebrows and pluck simultaneously.

10. even if i could see well enough to pluck,
I wouldn't, as I don't do self inflicted pain....well, except for child birth and an occasional hang-over. I wax or shall I say, I pay someone to wax my brows...LOL

15. Waxing at the salon is the way to go. I never minded the pain of plucking
but when I couldn't see what I was doing, it was time to turn the job over to somebody else. Waxing at a salon is inexpensive, relaxing and pain-free.

14. I'm terrified of getting my brows done. I just don't go to the salon either. I'm too cheap and my
hair grows too fast. So I cut it myself. I'm sure fuzzy brows will come back into style some day soon ! LOL!!!

17. Great post. I've just given up on my eyebrows.
I have a magnifying mirror, and I still can't see to pluck evenly.
