Any other retired government employees here?

We worked hard for many years for our benefits/retirement and now I don't feel secure but 'feel threatened from all sides.

The Feds want to reduce my Medicare and SS benefits and my state wants to charge more for health care and, maybe, reduce my pension amount.

How can this be? If the government doesn't stand by its word/contract it seems to me that all is lost.

A woman married to a Washington state patrolman did a good job blasting him. Likely Forbes twisting the numbers here. Anything to get the working class to hate government employees, when the enemy are Wall street and corporate crooks.

The truth of the matter is that its the private sector that sucks and screws over its employees and because the public sector is decent and gives cost of living increases, everyone has their panties in a knot over public employees.
