Maybe I'm a little paranoid

My wife and I both receive social security deposits to our joint checking account each month. This month
I noticed something different. The deposits have always been labeled "Federal Benefit Credit" but this
month mine was different. It was labeled "US Treasury". Just curious.

My mother's deposits have been listed as "US Treasury" for as long as we've been able to check her bank account balance online.

Maybe it's just your bank that's changed how it's labeled. FWIW, my mother banks with Chase (hates them, but for reasons too detailed to explain now, she can't switch to another bank yet).

2. Were you government workers? Mine says 'U.S. Treasury'.
