My Medicare card arrived in the mail yesterday. It's effective September but there it is in all its glory.
That is all. :D

Got mine last year. Haven't had to use it much, though. Be sure to get your Welcome to Medicare physical. It's free and pretty comprehensive. It's a good way to establish a baseline assessment of your health.

I didn't know about that physical. I go every 6 mos for a mini check up and am due back in October. So I can schedule the comprehensive for that time.
M for all, indeed!

11. They even included an electrocardiogram as part of it, plus |
|
a complete CBC blood panel. Nice.

Now let's see how long they'll let us keep receiving it.
Best wishes! :hi:

9. Lol! So in exactly 3 years you can make application for it |
|
The process is very efficient. Ten minutes by phone to make the application. The award letter arrived within 2 weeks followed by the card in yesterday's mail. Pretty slick for gubmint work! No wonder the Republicans hate it. It proves them so wrong.

6. You can apply by phone |
|
I started my app online but it went sideways. So I called the # for SSA and the gal put me through to applications. They retrieved my "in progress" online app attempt and completed by phone. I should have gone the phone route from the start. Took me 5 - 10 minutes.
