Heads up for the Perseids.

The Perseid meteor shower is underway. The shower's broad peak extends from August 11th through 13th, with August 12th being best. If you get away from bright city lights and watch the sky between local midnight and dawn on Friday morning, August 12th, you can expect to see dozens to hundreds of meteors.

Been clear for weeks, now it is cloudy. The graphic up in post #2 is interesting, Perseius is throwing shooting stars at Aries who is wrapped around the god of war Mars. ooooooooo

6. Always in our rainy season...arghhhh!!

330 nites a year are clear....we have dark skies so teh viewing would be fantastic....but never fails its cloudy an dthe next few nites look to be no exception....I love the monsoons...but I sure would love a clear nite to see the Perseids too.
