Suspiciously warm weather in Georgia lately |
|
I mean, we're in January now and the weather is so hot I don't even need heat (sometimes I'm tempted to turn the air on but I'm too cheap). Is this a ripple effect from the tsunami or is more bad stuff headed our way?

I live in Atlanta, and I wore shorts to run errands yesterday. Just last week the temperature was down in the teens. Weird.

4. This past week was gorgeous. Almost 70 |
|
It was great, but it made me wonder what's up.
We've had a temperature drop tonight, so its back to the chills.

5. A week ago (Sunday) we had a ice storm here in South Carolina-- |
|
this sunday? 73 degrees and sunny. How in the world can that be normal? It's supposed to be in the 70's here all week long.

8. Well that's exactly what's going on here |
|
I don't know much about meteorology so I'm wondering what's up. I hope scientists are still paying attention everywhere and not still slapping themselves over the tsunami disaster.

6. Normal weather variations |
|
One thing I'm pretty sure of is that tsunamis don't affect the weather.
The weather, as usual, is volatile (unless you live in southern California ;-) ). One day it's hot; a few days later it's not. Perfectly normal stuff.

were predicted days before the tsunami.

12. Same in my part of NC |
|
Weirdly warm autumn and winter. We've had maybe 10 nights MAX that were at or around freezing. It's bizarre. I'm assuming it's global warming. I'll keep moving north, I guess.
