Kurzweil and his fellow "transhumanists" are apocalypse worshippers; they believe AI will give them immortality. They essentially want AI to take over us all; what kind of rational person would want that? The fact that NASA and google are backing this is a sign of total insanity. We need to be doing everything possible to prevent this from happening.

And yes, if you are a transhumanist, you do worship the apocalypse. Read Kurweil's book The Singularity Is Near, it's full of quasi-religious, apocalypse-worshipping fanaticism.

Human beings are not androids. There's more to life than seeking knowledge.

6. Do what you want

I- and probably millions, if not, billions of others- would not want to live in a world dominated by a soulless computer anyway.

Transhumanism is really nothing more than a new brand of fascism anyway, its ideals harken back to the National Socialist idea of engineering the superior human. If it ever comes about, it will only result in genocide and oppression by the elite, or worse, AI.
