Pentagon's Patents for Telekinetic Weapons Firing Systems, Telepathic Soldiers
Thought-controlled cars, robots that wriggle their pieces back together, the Pentagon and Duke University's joint telepathic soldiers project, and more - read on for the most amazing new developments the near future has in store for you.

This story, written by science writer Eric Smith (BA, Journalism, UNC; Microsoft MCP, Comptia A+ and Network+ certified engineer), is an incredible roundup of the cutting edge in virtual reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, fuel efficiency, and some of the Pentagon's incredible new research in conjunction with Duke and Johns Hopkins universities - chip-to-chip silent troop communications and weapons control - in short, electronically-induced telepathy and telekinesis programs, for which the patents can be seen online. The incredible, mind-bending full story is exclusively here:

1. Psychic sex toys
Here's one of the graphics with the article:

They look kind of like the Shmoo:

Is the driver controlling the car, or is the car mind-reading the driver?

2. Albert Stubblebine, is that you?
Albert "Bert" N. Stubblebine III is a retired Major General in the United States Army. He was the commanding general of the United States Army Intelligence and Security Command from 1981 to 1984, when he retired from the Army. He is also known for his interest in parapsychology.

<...>

A proponent of psychic warfare, Stubblebine was involved in a U.S. military project to create "a breed of 'super soldier'" who would "have the ability to become invisible at will and to walk through walls". Visitors to Stubblebine's offices were told of him repeatedly walking at walls, only to bounce off them, painfully. Reportedly, he was frustrated by his inability to walk through walls, saying, "I still think it's a great idea, I simply kept bumping my nose. It's a disappointment - just like levitation.' He features prominently in Jon Ronson's book The Men Who Stare at Goats, where he is described as firmly believing that he himself can walk through walls.

4. I believe you!
That's news to me, but I believe you - there are a lot of batshit crazy bastards in charge of our nuclear and bacteriological warfare weaponry.
