Have you seen the papers at the Space Studies Institute site? The Space Studies Institute (SSI) carries on the work of the late Dr. Gerard K. O'Neill on space settlement, manufacturing, use of off-world resources and power from space.

SSI has its own biannual conferences on space manufacturing. I've always wanted to attend; but, there was always something else and I didn't have the money to attend every conference. I did make it out to the National Space Society's yearly conference until the late 90s.
