10. I found chemistry difficult, too. Tell him to hang in there. It's just
something you have to slog through, then spend the rest of your life enjoying the fact that you don't have to remember any of that crap.

12. My Dad was a high school chemistry teacher.
In fact, he was my high school chemistry teacher and he gave me a C! Yet I still like chemistry and science in general. Tell him to hang in there. Its worth it.

I always loved science and I'm glad some of it stuck, even after all these years. He's smart and I think he'll be fine.
