1. rights to do what, compared to what?
Of course, I've been confused by the last few threads I've opened, so this could just be me not getting the reference to something :dunce:

2. Some one actually
thinks the question needs to me more clear? What is unclear? A woman's rights are important. Period, the end! Nothing unclear at all!

4. The poll question was written by Boojatta.
Therefore your openly expressed favorable opinion of its clarity could make you some enemies. Or maybe not. Who knows?

6. I think so, we have missed out on too many scientists due to lack of woman's rights.

7. The fact that this question has to be asked at all
is frightening.

But you see it everywhere. South Dakota comes to mind, where you can't remove an ectopic pregnancy until the woman starts to die. Because that's an abortion and abortion is illegal there no matter what. How many women cross that line into eligibility and suffer permanent damage or death because of it? If a woman's rights were important, this debate wouldn't even exist when conditions where injury or death is inevitable.

Even something simple and mundane like pointing at a random eagle flying overhead and commenting to a four year old to look at the eagle. Isn't "he" majestic? Assume everything is male unless proven otherwise and you teach children that girls are the exception and not the norm. We may be 51% of the human race but we're still considered to be non-standard. And in one case someone actually said to my face that it was good that girls could do the same jobs as people. First day on the job working as a gas station attendant.

There are numerous examples and I could be here all day. But I'll stick to one that could cost a woman her life and one that a lot of people, including women themselves, consider trivial but worms its way into the very way we think, therefore isn't trivial at all.

8. Are you a man or a woman?
Just curious.

9. Kick because it seems that many American citizens consider this to be a controversial topic.

If anyone has any suggestions on how I might go about revising the Original Post to make the poll question and/or poll answer options more clear, then I would appreciate it and I would probably begin outlining or drafting a new, revised poll thread.
