I don't know who should feel more offended, the women who are compared to a piece of candy or the men who are compared to flies. I do know who should feel more threatened, though: the women who are seeing men promoted as being unable to resist temptation.

I agree with Myers. This ad is disgusting apologetics for the uber-patriarchal society that religious conservatives love in which women must submit to men at all times.

Oh wait, I've heard that women should avoid getting married if they don't want to get rape! Phyllis Schlafly infamously said in 2007: "By getting married, the woman has consented to sex, and I don't think you can call it rape."

(on edit) Imagine the backlash if an American college campus posted flyers urging female students to "stop dressing like sluts" instead of urging men to control themselves.

I am not sure which branch of christianity this group attaches to but I came across this org the other day Pure Fashion http://www.purefashion.com/faq who while aren't threatening girls with the possibility of rape for dressing immodestly still hint at it some danger - What message does modesty send?

Dressing modestly helps a young woman to be pure of heart, as well as helps the young boys or men with whom she comes in contact, to remain pure of heart. As scripture tells us, "Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God." Matthew 5:8

It reminds me of the one epsidoe of Bevis and Butthead I ever watched where they went to court against a girl for sexually harassing them by being 'hot'.

with any group like this it is about controlling women and making them responsible for others behavior, never anything about telling men they are responsible for their own actions. Also this presumes not just that men are incapable of self control but that they desire to rape any female they find attractive instead of desiring a consensual relationship.
