Over in the lounge a bit came up on Men Breastfeeding.

lounge

Apparently it is possible for a man to do this. So will you/would you encourage the men/significant other/husband in your life to do this?

7. Hell yeah! I'd love for him to be the one to get the C-section this time!
and I could be the one to make cooing sounds, tell him how great he's doing and then leave him alone a few days later while he's recovering so I could go back to work and get on with my life. =) (I'm 7 weeks pg, and extremely emotional right now, if you can't tell! lol)

9. Mine went to work when I was still in the hospital.
He's now my ex-husband. :D

Anyway, I hope you feel better soon and you get the support you need this time.

2. No. If he wanted to, I'd be open to discussing it, of course.
But I can't imagine myself propsing that he breast-feed.

3. Yes
Men should be allowed to nurture their children, and feel what engorgement is like and spring leaks at the sound of an infants cry. Yep they should know what it's like.

5. I don't think I would have
wanted to share that really. I adored that time with my babies, I loved being pregnant. I understand wanting to let them nurture but that was just so special I would have a hard time asking someone else to do it.

8. Absolutely. Nursing was the best bonding time with my kids
Why would I want to deny that to my husband? I don't recall him volunteering, though.......
