"Reading Lolita in Tehran," which chronicles the early revolution and how it was co opted by the religious fanatics (it was largely socialist in the beginning) and how chillingly easy it was for an uneducated minority of zealots to take over a country.

The parallels with the US over the past 5 years won't be lost.
