Pneumo-tubes to bring all necessities to every home
pneumo tubes are those air pressure tubes you see at some bank drive ups that send the capsule rabbits thru them to the car.

I was fascinated by a scifi story in which such tubes brought all needed food and gadgets to every house.

We have built sewer tubes to every home, and they have the same cross-section volume needed by supply pneumotubes.

So we COULD build them.

What do you think of it?

Good? Bad?

4. "Let them eat {chocolate} cake"
Well, hmmm.... i guess things will have to be trimmed and folded to get thru the tubes.

A tube the size of a sewer pipe is feasible, since that exists now for every habitat. Arent they about seven inches across?

You could get an oblong Choclate Cake thru .

Is that your main diet, sugarblues? LOL

PS what does sugarblues mean?

2. In the early 70's when i worked at 1000 bed hospital lots of
stuff --pharmacy meds, supplies, patient charts, etc was transported by these tubes. Across and up and down. i do not know if they still use them but they sure were efficient and quick.

5. Computer notices running out of an item, re-orders, TUBE sends it
the scifi story had a TUBE computer monitor your pantry, and when an item began to run low, it automaticaly sent more to you via the TUBE.

so your valuable brain did not waste a second of life with shopping for basic regular things, like food or combs or socks.

sounds good to me... comments?

'THE BASICS SHOULD BE AUTOMATIC"

said the scifi story.
