Question re: the website cuteoverload.com

I'm curious what your opinion is of this site. My friend thinks it's awful and that all the animals are drugged. Now, I think some of the pictures are cruel, but generally thought it was pet owners taking cute pics of their animals sleeping, etc. Am I being naive?

1. It doesn't appear to me that any of the animals are drugged.

I've taken cute photos like those of my cats on occasion. I don't see a problem.

2. From what I've seen of it, it appears to just be chance

photos of the animals that people share time with. I can't tell you the number of times that I've wished I had my camera handy to catch something "cuteoverload"-able that one of my animals is doing.

Besides, if there was a site that had all this crap about stuff kids/babies do, would it also be assumed that they were drugged?

3. Drugged? I think that is a bit of a reach on your friends part...

...I've got hundreds of cute pictures of my furkids, and I've never once given them a quaalude. They just look that way naturally for about 20 out of 24 hours a day...;-)
