The factory farm lobby with its near bottomless bank accounts and its burning desire for revenge after being beaten by pro-animal forces in a similar ballot initiative in 2002 in Florida, has wasted no time in coming out swinging. Our side, on the other hand, must ration out its expenditures much more cautiously.... so in this early stage it is all about people power (all stages, especially the final stage, Election Night is about people power)...it is about free media.
This is where all pro-animal internet activists around the world come in to help us and the animals out big time here in Arizona. Over the next few months, people will be turning to the internet to find out more about "Prop 204." IN order to increase the positioning of
http://www.yesforhumanefarms.com">Prop 204's website over the Opposition's anti-Prop 204 website, we must use Google's ranking system to our advantage. Google's ranking system ingenuously does not only look at what's on a page but also who and how many people link to the page in question and what is on the pages that link to it. If you were researching Russian vacations, would you rather be pointed to a page that has the term "Russian vacations" a half a gazillion times on its page or a website that one gazillion websites link with the text of the link being "Russian vacations."
Do a search on Miserable Failure and you'll get GWB's bio at whitehouse.gov... testament that this strategy works.
So here is what you can.... Place the text link "Prop 204" on your website that points to
http://www.yesforhumanefarms.com (the closer to the root folder the better (i.e. "http://www.mypage.com/index.htm" is better than "http://www.mypage.com/animalstuff/ballotinitiatives/googlestrategies/2006/arizona.htm")
Like such: <a href="http://www.yesforhumanefarms.com">Prop 204</a>
Of course placing such a link in the context of a posting about Prop 204 is even better yet, using relevant terms in the proximity of term.
Also, if you are doing that... make sure you link to HSUS and Farm Sanctuary since Google ALSO considers the "page rank" of other pages that a page links to in the proximity of the link to the page in question!
Any link you can manage will help greatly, these are just a few tips.
Oh yeah, one more link:
