Sheriff Joe Apaio (toughest sheriff in America) stars in AZ Prop 204 ad!
Check it out! Wow... My respect for this man has gone from negative to doubleplusgood in the last month and a half. This takes balls for him to do this...

1. While I applaud his stance on animal cruelty, he's still a creep and a
buffoon.

I almost wish he wouldn't campaign for Prop 204. His silence would be better, IMHO.

He's corrupt, cruel (to humans), and has cost the county millions in lawsuits.

It's kind of like when Pat Buchannon criticizes Bush. I like the fact that I hear the right dumping on Bush, but I constantly have to remind myself that Pat would happily burn me at the stake if he had the chance.

2. yeah, but his taking a stand on this issue is critical for winning over
white moderate/conservative males. It scuttles the Opposition's only card, that this is an out-of-state vegan campaign.

3. Point taken, you are probably right that he is a "plus" for prop 204.
And if it passes (I hope to God/dess it does) I would thank him for his help.

I still wish he would go away, though.

Remember how he promised to only serve one term?
How long ago was that?

6. I understand your point, too... I was a bit euphoric when I said
I thought of him as doubleplus good. I am not in Maricopa, I am in Yuma so I am doubly sensitive to the "conservative white male vote."

4. help please....
is this nationwide or just in his state?

Sorry for being dumb on this.

Hated the video, made me upset, but glad people who are ignorant about it, will see how cruel it is.

:)

5. It's on the Arizona ballot for this November. Not nationwide.
