The day I accidently ran across a slaughter house as a child on horseback in the countryside of Brazil, ( and this was decades ago for the ol' peacebuzzard) was the day I began my journey to vegetarianism and beyond.(beyond, thanks to this little forum...)

I will never forget the sadness of the old cow that was standing there and the brutality that followed.
