Looking for warm vegan shoes

My very favorite winter shoes, before I stopped using things made from animals, were Stegmann wool clogs. They were warm, comfortable, sturdy. I've been looking for something similar using a plant-based fabric, like cotton, or some synthetic. I haven't been able to find anything, and I won't buy wool. I've e-mailed Stegmann and Haflinger, who also make wool clogs, and asked them to consider making a vegan version. I've also e-mailed Pangea, and asked if they know of any. I haven't heard back yet.

Does anyone know of vegan felt clogs? Winter's coming!

5. Speaking of shoes

A friend of mine--actually, a parishioner-- has recently stopped buying leather, etc, and works in a setting where she has to wear "electric static dissipating" shoes. She works in a cleanroom doing something for a silica mining company. Silica mining and glassmaking are major industries here, but I must admit, I don't understand how it all works. Anyway, she's required to wear these "esd" shoes, and asked me if I know where she can get any that aren't leather. I haven't even really begun looking, but thought I'd start here, since I got a good answer so quickly. I didn't know there were such things--but they sound like they might be nice during the winter, when the air gets dry and I get shocked just petting the cats!

So, let me know if you have any ideas.

I couldn't find any ESD shoes on mooshoes, vegetarian shoes, or in the veg section at zappos, but an email might get them to look into it for you.

Also not sure about glues and such, but it uses a synthetic for the upper, rather than leather.

4. It probably depends on the brand

I've bought Earth Vegan shoes from Moo Shoes, and they ran exactly to size. You might want to call or e-mail. Most places know which shoes tend to be a bit off-size and can tell you whether to size up or down.
