Okay, jackass. Let's get it out. Your study and the thumb up my ass say that plants are sentient. Okay. Fact is, based on your stupid statement, you're hurting a larger population of sentient beings by eating meat (considering that the transition of plant calorie into animal calorie into person calorie is by far the MOST inefficient means by which to do this).

Hey, so long as it washes with you, then I guess that's okay. Everyone can justify something so long as it suits them...

What IS that smell? Is it bullshit, or is it just my thumb?

5. Even if this bullshit were true, and it isn't
most food plants (corn, soybeans, wheat) are annuals. They are allowed to live out their natural lives before being harvested. They turn brown before harvest because they're DEAD!!

And fruit-producing plants make their apples or oranges or grapes, they're harvested, and the plant goes on to live another year.

Few product plants are actually killed to produce food crops.

So, this argument will seem rational when meat-eaters eat beef from cows that died of OLD AGE!!

Morans.

7. I wonder if he was waving a piece of bacon as he said that
and chomped on it right when he thought he made a point and chewed it while relaxing and waiting for feedback to his brainy idea.

I just worked with someone these days that did just that.

(sigh)
