1. Great looking dog, CQG! For me? I dunno...

My big boy is still alive, my rescues (and I) have a new house...many fortunate things to think about. The best thing for me, as far as the pups go, was fucking up the life of a pit breeder/fighter and stealing this girl from him:



That's the best thing I did this year, and I think maybe I banked a bit of good karma in the process.

2. My being vegetarian influenced my parents

to decide to go meatless at least two or three days a week. I doubt they'd ever go full-on vegetarian but I never thought I'd see them give up meat even one day a week, so you never know.... :)

5. I posted this summer about my Community Dog,

edited for past tense for last year! It is now 2007!!

I adopted (Nicky now brings the family to 6 mutts and a kitty )



This picture is of her still at the animal shelter, I paid for her heartworm treatment and brought her home to the family this year.

I was bogged down last year and did not post much or take good photos, ( This one was taken with a cellular phone I still do my best photo work with my Nikon 35 and transfer images to CD....Santa did not bring me my Leica digital camera I would looove to have)

... but Nicky is my 06 personal rescue pooch....
