I didn't see in the article, but this vegan (and many others) also won't buy beer (no matter how vegan) brewed by companies with blatant ties to any animal exploitation.

For example, I won't drink any Bud products because of their ties to their animal parks. I won't drink Pabst because of their tireless sponsorship of professional rodeo (lesser reason: it tastes like shit). Carona (sp?) sponsors bullfighting. And so on, and so on.

On the other hand, Flying Dog donates a portion of their profits to shelters. I lurves me some Flying Dog.
