peep it:
http://www.sharkwater.com/index.html"Sharkwater takes viewers into the most shark rich waters of the world, exposing the exploitation and corruption surrounding the world’s shark populations in the marine reserves of Cocos Island, Costa Rica, and the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. Driven by passion fed from a life-long fascination with sharks, Rob Stewart debunks historical stereotypes and media depictions of sharks as bloodthirsty, man-eating monsters, and reveals the reality of sharks as pillars in the evolution of the seas. In an effort to protect sharks, Stewart teams up with Paul Watson of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Their unbelievable adventure together starts with a battle between the Sea Shepherd and shark poachers in Guatemala, resulting in pirate boat rammings, gunboat chases, mafia espionage, corrupt court systems and attempted murder charges, forcing them to flee for their lives."
Personally, I, for one, am deathly afraid of sharks. I kinda stay away from the ocean because of it. It's not because I don't like them, but I think that the ocean is their domain, and I'm not looking to garnish myself with parsley and float upside down. I also don't believe that the vast majority of attacks are mistakes. I think that they're hungry, and we're really nothing but an introduction to their food chain. That said, I also believe that these animals need further protection for various industries and interests that are slowly wiping them out. The Canadian seal hunt uses many of the same excuses...the decimating of the fisheries, to suggest that the demise of the species is a good thing. I, on the other hand, find that a good ramming of a shark finning vessel to be a good thing.
Guess there are at least 2 sides to every fight.
