I just had an awesome tempeh burger...

...it was the first time I've tried the TexMex Super Burger from Turtle Island Foods, but it was great. I cooked it to get it crisp on both sides, with a little olive oil, pepper, and garlic powder. Right before I took it off the skillet, I poked it with a fork on both sides, put on some veggie worcestershire sauce, and cooked it for an additional 30 seconds on each side - just enough to get the worcestershire flavor locked in, but not burnt, then put it on an organic whole wheat bun. Of course, I ran it through the garden with the toppings. Folks, you've got to try one if you haven't! :9

3. They have them at the food co-op here.

I haven't tried any yet, but I have to take you to our food co-op while you're here so I guess we could get some then.

We also have to go to the chinese vegetarian grocery with all the spiffy mockmeats (and weird ovo lacto stuff like pickled duck eggs, but we can ignore that.)
