Occasionally I watch some of the cases of animal abuse on Animal Planet. I'd be arrested for murder if I had to be one of those officers, I swear. It tears my heart out, but I'm so glad others can do the job and aren't wusses, or an ill-tempered maniac, like me.

5. I like your style.

I'm very friendly with our Animal Services folks. The head of investigations has offered me, time and again, to go on ride-alongs, view busts, etc. While I appreciate the trust and love the opportunity, I can't. I've even told him that I'd blow his case. I mean, if they really WANTED their busts to look like something concocted by the pro-wrestling establishment, then be my guest, cuz I can't guarantee that I won't take some dogfighter on and issue a piledriver on a steel folding chair.
