Abruptly pooping out 35 min into a workout
these past few days. Anything dietary I need to look at? Or just get more sleep?

1. How much sleep are you getting?
Is this your swimming workout?

2. About 7 hours
and yes, it's swimming. I've also been piling it on a bit by riding my bike to work 2-3 times a week (3.5 miles each way, mild inclines) and using the fitness room at work 1-2 times a week.

I might also add that I was up until 4:00 am Sunday because I had to take my roommate to the ER (he tripped and landed on a beer bottle he was holding.) I may simply be feeling that.

Still, I'm concerned I might not be getting enough protein or carbs? I'm adding more concentrated protein foods like a serving or two of superfirm tofu and tempeh each day.

3. If you haven't changed your diet drastically
and as I recall from our side conversation that you've been working out pretty intensely for a little while, I'd say that Sunday has caught up with you.

6. Yeah, I figured that's the culprit
but I was wondering how long the lingering effect would be.

4. maybe you're tired?
I'm tired just reading all of that.

My advice would be to eat some soy delicious and read a trashy novel. But this is why I'm DU's Official Lazy Vegan.

5. Sounds like a plan
I'll make myself a protein shake and finish my novel, "A Wild Sheep Chase" by Haruki Murakami.

I hope he is ok, but that was funny!

8. He's fine, but yes it is funny
We work at the same place. The next day his boss came around and told me to quit attacking his staff with broken bottles, next time just talk it out! :-)
