1. Beautifully done.
So fortunate these dogs have a 2nd chance.

2. Yes, I thought so too.
It's been a real eye-opener for me to see how dogs can be turned around.

3. Allow me...
You said it was an eye-opener to see these dogs turned around. It's fact, not fiction, and everyone everywhere needs to reconsider their thoughts on abused pitbulls and their kind...

I've known this fighter bitch for two hours

Shortly thereafter

How about this fighter, still on the chain (sorry I didn't steal you too, love)

Or my bait dog left to die in the woods

Or this pit that was hours from starving to death

These aren't bad dogs. They're dogs with a bad past. In most cases, you can train/love it out of them.

I know most folks have seen these before. It bears repeating over and over, though.

4. It makes me believe in (some) people again
to see wonderful pictures and stories like these.

I am so glad you have the courage and energy to free these poor pups.

I wish these little angels never had to deal with pain and suffering. I wish the poor little lady pit down the road from my house did not have a heavy chain around her little neck all day. It pains me every day I drive by.

I know your house is full of rescues, like mine, and like many here in this web neighborhood. Just too many sad, tortured, enslaved and forgotten dogs in the world. But to see photos like these lightens the hard world a little.

I never tire of great endings. :grouphug:

5. Thanks for posting these
I knew a bit about your work, which, along with "Dogtown" and the rehabilitation of the Vick dogs, has educated me.

7. I keep coming back to look at those pictures
over and over. Those scarred, but now happy and trusting, faces tell a compelling story.
