flvegan reviews: Bahama Rice Burgers
I admit that I was skeptical. I went into the Wild Oats store (soon to be Whole Foods or something that bought them out). I bought a box of Amy's (with the knowledge I'd love them) along with these. But, having read in the latest VegNews that these were out there, I felt it my duty to spend 4 bucks and make mention.

I bought the Mediterranean variety. I really wanted the pineapple and mango version but in conference with myself, I said "self, don't get all veg-crazy here" and went with the aforementioned burgers.

Had I more than two thumbs, this product would get more than two thumbs up.

Seriously, this product gives the best from Amy's a solid run for the money. The taste is fantastic. Though, as a bodybuilder I'd love to see a protein/fat grams ratio better than 4/5, it's okay. Not many of me out there, and when it comes to taste...who cares?

1. I saw those at the store but didn't get any.
Honestly, I kinda figured a rice-based patty would be rather bland. Since you liked them, I'll check them out.

2. Wow, only 4g protein per burger?
That's a bit low. But if they taste that good, I know a few soyaphobes who are going to be gifted a package. :)

3. The Jerkin' Spicy seems appealing.
The only store in my area where they are available is Publix, which is close to my house. Hope I can find them there.
