Favorite stir fry ingredients and sauces
I love stir fry and so does the family. I think I'm pretty good at it. I usually do a separate bowl for each person. Just looking for some new ideas to mix it up. Hits at my house:

Soy beans
tofu
bean sprouts
cashews (though I am thinking my son might like almonds as I'm writing this--he hates cashews)
pineapple
onions
carrots
celery
peppers
pea pods
brocolli
siracha (probably spelled wrong, I just call it cock sauce because it makes my wife roll her eyes--I'm the only one that likes it. Learned the hard way to just add it at the end for a couple flips to stop the eye watering haze in the kitchen)

I'm probably forgetting stuff, but what do you guys like that's a little different? Anyone ever put a spoon of peanut butter in it? I'm thinking my daughter might like that.

1. Candle corn.
You know, those tiny little corncobs? I love those things. Sometimes I'll do bamboo shoots, and of course 90% of everything in your list (flvegan don't do carrots nor celery).

Chinese grocers sell it pre-fried and drained of oil in ready to use bags for super cheap.

4. Daikon
Peel it and then soak in cold water to alleviate the bitterness, though.

5. Stir fry needs 5 things...
...everything else is just for fun. :)

1) broccoli
2) tofu
3) Tony Chachere's Cajun Seasoning
4) fresh garlic
5) oil

Soy sauce is good too, as are other vegetables... but those 5 ingredients make the best stir-fry time and time again IMO. I make it so much that my girlfriend and close friends have come to just call it "Brian food." Toss it with some brown rice or pasta for a complete meal easily heated up in the microwave as leftovers.

6. Mine always has
bok choy
mushrooms
red pepper slices
marinated dry-fried tofu
scallions
pea pods

I use a combination of canola oil with dark sesame oil added for flavor.

My sauce is Sracha, tamari sauce, a bit of agave, red thai curry paste, and lime juice and unsweetened coconut milk.

Served over basmati rice or rice noodles depending on my mood.

I make this once a week.

7. Asparagus stir fry ingredients--I love this recipe
Asparagus (cut into inch-long chunks)
Garlic
Onion
Black bean garlic sauce
Bean sprouts
Baby corn
Sesame seeds

The trick is to heat up the oil, add all of the "flavoring" ingredients--the sauce, baby corn, sesame seeds, garlic, and onion--and cook them to almost done before putting in the asparagus. Then just lightly cook the asparagus so it's bright green. At the end I add a little corn starch mixed with water to thicken the sauce and give it all that glazed look. Yum!

8. Mushrooms...
Mushrooms make everything better. Except maybe breakfast cereal, but I haven't figured out a way to work them in yet.
