Any Boston vegetarians here?
I will be in Boston from July 13th to 17th. Where are good places to eat? I am staying at a hotel right by Boston Common.

1. I visit Boston about once a year. It's pretty Veg-friendly.
Even the snooty steakhouses I was dragged to (it's a business trip; what can you do?) were really accommodating and provided several options--and I'm a vegan.

But finding veg food near the Common? You should have no trouble at all! :bounce:
Be sure to try Spike's Junkyard Dogs while you're there; they have great veggie hot dogs with more toppings than you can shake a stick at:

Here are some links I've used in the past for info by neighborhood:

Have fun in Boston! :hi:

4. Rangers!
I wish. Sox and Hamilton would be a good game to watch.

My wife tried taking me there for my birthday a couple years ago but we didn't end up making it.

6. Went to Boloco which was a block from the hotel.
It was fabulous. They are very vegetarian and vegan friendly. Tofu option for all burritos. Damn, wish they had these in Wisconsin.

7. I know this is late, but something important to watch for -

There's an amazing vegetarian/vegan/organic shop here in Lowell, with some of the most delicious food you will ever eat - well, they are finally opening a franchise, and it's going to open in Central Square Cambridge! I swear on my life, this place has the most delicious meals and drinks in the world, and you and your meat-eating friends will BOTH be hooked! People drive from all over to eat there, even former New England Patriot Larry Izzo is a big fan :)

If you live in the area, you just HAVE to give it a shot, you will not be disappointed. The Cambridge location should be open very soon...stay tuned...
