My only gripe about Daiya vegan cheese . . .
If there is any melted cheese left on your plate or utensils, that stuff is like concrete after it dries! I've soaked plates & still had to scrub & scrub to get if off.

I'll shut up now, lest the vegan gods think I'm not appreciative of the best vegan cheese I've ever had.

1. I guess I've just been lucky.
I've not had that problem yet. Now that you've alerted me, I hope not to either.

But yeah, it's really good.

"If there is any melted cheese left on your plate or utensils..."

You're doing something wrong! Lick that plate! ;)

5. While I've not tried this brand (does Whole Foods carry it?)
I would suggest covering your plate with a sheet of parchment paper next time. Also, Whole Foods sells parchment paper that has a layer of silicone on it so things won't stick. Then you could wipe it off and use it again, unless you buy one of those silicone baking liners instead :)
