Dr. Best needs some help. I may have to do a little research on that article, and who that reporter really works for!

3. The ones who exploit animals are the extremists.
Animals are tortured in astronomical numbers yet anybody who tries to stop even the smallest fraction of it is the extremist? Uh huh.

Somebody's gotten all upset over the GI tract "not being herbivore." But that's not nearly all there is to the story.

4. Steven Best is an interesting fellow.
I've had the pleasure of meeting him a few times. He's a brilliant speaker. If I had to choose one person to be on my team in a veg v. meat debate, it'd be him. He's very pro-ALF, and doesn't bite his tongue when it comes to discussing ALF-type tactics.

He also writes quite often for Impact Press, a zine that I really like.
