Poll question: Would you be interested in a veggie group east coast meet up?
Ok, I'll do it! :P
I put yes, but like I said before I couldn't do it until early fall...September or so.
What does everyone think?

3. You want to send an unsuspecting girl from WV off to NYC?
You crazy! :P
I might go for that. I have always wanted to go to NYC....I might bring my sister along since she knows her way around the city :)

4. I could do NYC.
As long as there's some locals there to show me around.

I did like the idea of visiting PETA headquarters in Norfolk to get us all holding a DU sign. But I"m already in Virginia, so I'm biased.

Thanks for posting the poll, though. I really was going to get around to it. ;)

5. Are you kidding?
The chance to meetup with all these great folks with like-minds and like-actions? The chance to meetup with folks that will go headlong into an anti-PETA bashfest? The chance to meetup with folks that not only share my thoughts on animals and compassion, but also on politics?

Sign me the hell up!

6. I would love to, if I can afford it. Money is always an issue....
... if you are from WVA, and some are from the NE, and myself from TN, and I'm sure others are from all over, then maybe a middle point would make it feasible for all involved? Maybe DC?

9. If we did DC, then we have addtl. options
We could tour the HSUS/Fund facilities. That AAAAAAAND, isn't the DU home office based in DC, yes? We could offer to cater a veg lunch/dinner for the folks that work so hard to bring this site to us.

13. Yes, I was thinking the DC aspect would have a lot of symbolism...

10. I'm two hours from DC, two hours from Norfolk,
and probably around 6 hours from NYC. So it's all good to me.

8. I love NYC.
Last time I was there was six months before 9/11. I can't believe it was that recent. After everything that's happened it feels like a million years ago.

It was a great trip. I saw Cabaret, Rent, Fosse, and a play with David Suchet that I can't remember the name of.

I'd love to go (or to PETA Headquarters, or D.C. -- never been!) but I'll have to assume I can't unless I can work something out. Don't want to get my hopes up. :(

Keep me posted.
(Just a warning .... I am a near total vegetarian, and a vegan wannabe, I slip alot since my lifestyle stresses do not allow meal planning...I need to get more ideas and tips)
But yes, yes, I would be interested.
