How hot is it down there?
I was in Orlando last August and I thought I would die from the heat. I kid you not.
It is 95 and humid here in WV today, and I am dreaming of a crisp fall day.
How on earth do you handle that heat???? :shrug:

Well, if Fred "King Homophobe" Phelps really wanted to convert people to God-fearing, gay-hating zealots, he should try that. Knock out a bunch of folks, and wake them back up when they got to Tampa. Herd them off the bus, and say, "you all died in a horrific bus accident. welcome to hell." They'd buy it.

I don't think ou could pay me to spend a summer in Florida. Seriously. :) I am weak. ;)

3. A whole summer? What if I tempted you with

the following 10 prizes:

1. The flvegan home game;
2. 7 enchanted evenings of balaclavas and boltcutters;
3. Bait dog resocializing camp;
4. Games of trivia: How much poop can 12 dogs actually make in a day? and How much longer can they possibly bark at the mailman?
5. If you're lucky, a pet store protest. If you're luckier, getting thrown out of a pet store pre (or post) protest (Tampa cops are nice);
6. Sweating. A lot. Constantly.
7. The grand AR tour of Tampa Bay, including, but not limited to the site of the veal plant fire (quite mysterious), the local puppy mill complete with tour of trailers with mattresses against the windows to stifle noise transmission, the Burdine's fur fridge, etc.
8. 3 Sundays at the local Spay Day event, altering feral cats for free;
9. The potential potency of both of us pounding on the very same computer, raging against various anti-PETA posters!;
10. Experiencing traffic that will make you appreciate whatever idiots you deal with each day where you live.
