1. Oh man don't tempt me. I havent even gotten my protection plan yet!

warranty killers, and one is quite simple.

and how is opening it up not a warrnty killer? I am still new to mac so go easy on me.

If you have a computer store near you they will put the RAM in for free if you buy it there.

Be sure you get the old RAM back so you can sell it.

5. So changing my own ram is okay with Apple?

Did they seriously say that if I don't break anything in doing it, my warranty is still good?

6. I don't believe replacing your own RAM would void the warranty

Doing something like over clocking would.
