Mac vs. PC (Cakewalk)??

Any home recording studio people out there?

1. Deck by Bias
I used to use Deck, but now I use Peak beacause I only need two tracks:

4. Well for starters, there is GarageBand, which comes with iLife (50.00)

May have come with your mac -- probably did.

Very fun, very easy to use, may be all you need -- includes MIDI, a bunch of great sampled instruments, and audio recording.

For Pros, MacWorld has reviewed the big three recently - Logic Pro, Cubase, and Digital Performer. Digital Performer to me is the easiest to use.
