Last year's model, but seems like a heck of a deal!

1. I'm giving it a serious look. I was just on macmall's site looking at
iMac's. Did you use a price search engine or deal fnder to find it? I bought my current iBook from Amazon. I got a great deal, but the customer service sucked!

2. From A Deal Site -- here are my favorites for Macs
here's where I saw that one:

http://dealmac.com/

this site tracks deals on imacs, emacs, etc - I never could find a central page there for deals, so I'll give you direct links to the pages

3. I don't know about buying an iMac without Bluetooth. Don't you need it to
use a wireless keyboard and mouse?

I'm going to check out those sites now.

4. Yes, to use the Apple Wireless keyboard you need Bluetooth
Doesn't look like you can install the Bluetooth stuff yourself either.

6. Congrats! Don't forget to get your free Tiger Upgrade!
I am betting that Panther comes in the box with it, but you can get Tiger from apple for $9.95 shipping.

If it was me I would add some more memory, at least to get it up to 512. . .I have had great luck w this Ram vendor:

I am so happy for you. Wish I could justify getting another computer.

8. I got one for my office.
I'm very pleased with it. Beautiful display.
The only thing I don't like about it is the connections are on the back. I have to literally turn the display around to fit anything-it's a bit of a pain.
It looks like a deal to me.
