have to sell my moms g5 imac. anyone interested?
as some may recall i bought a new 17" imac for my mom about 6 months ago but she has basically lost her eyesight and can no longer use it. in fact she barely used it....

im hoping to get $1000 for it and thought i would offer here first before ebay. paid over $1200 from apple online store plus quality software

everything original incl kybd, mouse, box and paperwork. still under apple warranty
1.6 ghz
256 memory
panther 10.3.9

extra software can incl
- macromedia studio mx (dreamweaver, fireworks etc)
- office 2004
- photoshop cs
- quicken 2005
- norton systemworks

i only say "can" because most of it is not yet installed since she i had to keep it as simple as possible for her
the computer is located where she lives in north carolina. im travelling down there next week and will get it set up for selling at that time

glad to answer any questions or discuss if you think $1000 is too much. can take cash money order or paypal i think if that helps.
also glad to work out pymt plan if youre someone who has been on du for awhile
shipping should be approx $40 depending on where you live

1. Where in North Carolina?
My son lives in Charlotte and desperately needs to upgrade from the iMac we bought him as a freshman in 1999

2. No need for the iMac, but I'd like PScs.
So if your computer buyer doesn't want it too, please keep me in mind. I'm trying to start a freelance photography business, and I only have elements 2.0 now. being in business means I need an Adobe license. $600 is steeeeeeeeep for me right now.

I do understand if you can sell it all to one person it's a better deal for you than piecemeal though.
