HP and Mac Printing issue |
|
I have started to notice that my mac is getting REALLY SLOW every time I have to print a 5 page or more document. I know that I could probably fix this by increasing the spool size or the location of the spool folder. Thing is I do not know how to do this yet on a mac or even if it can be done. Can it be done? and if so how?
Thanks!

1. How much hard drive space do you have left? |
|
Spooling problems are exacerbated when hard drives are full.

2. I have at least 100GB left (on two drives combined) |
|
I was wondering if I could somehow make a new spool folder or point the spool to use my 120GB hard drive and not on my 40GB mini

I had very good luck with their email problem solving recently and am quite satisfied with the results. I bought a new HP 6540 and used their CD to install the driver and later found out it had overwritten TigerÕs driver and thus gave me much grief with stopped jobs and snail like slowness etc. HP support zipped me right through the (painless) procedure and IÕm now printing with no problems.
