Please help!!!!!

Okay, so today, I was holding down the ctrl key (I think) and clicked on something and now the minimizer icon is GONE on safari!!!! I can't minimize ANYTHING!!!!! My parents are going to yell at me again because things seem to go wrong when I'm on the computer!!!!!

Please help me!!!! How do I get the minimizer back?!

1. I use firefox, so I'm not that familiar with safari, but I suggest you go

to the apple web site/support/discussions/safari and ask the question there. That's where the experts are.

2. Are we talking about the little yellow button in the upper left hand side

of the window? Is it only in Safari, or all windows in other applications and the finder?

Try quitting Safari and restarting it. If that doesn't work, try shutting down the computer and restarting it.

Don't panic. It's hard to break anything here! We'll get it fixed.

3. What's the minimizer icon?

Do you mean a program or document that's in the Dock?

Sometimes they just disappear from the Dock for no reason but are still on the hard disk.

Before I upgraded to 10.3.9, my Mail icon used to disappear for no reason, but it was right there in the Applications folder and I could easily drag it back into the Dock.

4. Try

under "Safari" click "Reset Safari" That should put it back to its original state. You might have to turn on things like tabbed browsing and pop up blocking.
