Help! Need to send some files but they are too big!!!

I'm trying to send important emails to a client - two contracts and disclosures, and he doesn't have a fax machine. I scanned them into pdf files and reduced the file size, but they were still 1 megabyte or more. Some were 2 or more.
I thought maybe maczip would reduce them, but it only brought them down a fraction. Still won't go on the old dial up I have here.

any ideas???

1. burn them to a CD and overnight them to your client.

These are the kind of files that have to be send instantly.
I ended up having to hand deliver them.

But there ought to be a way to send these files without them being so big.

3. Can you right click (control click) then create an archive of the

files. That will compress them. Try that.

But it is still too big. It changed a 1.2 mb file to 1.1 mb.

5. Break the document up into smaller segments and send them.

You could try sending it through something like http://mail2web.com You can get a gmail account and send it that way.

6. argh, not pdfs!

just scan and save as jpgs. MUCH smaller.
