Starwars in your terminal window

this is pretty neat. You don't need to know anything about the terminal to do this. Be sure you are connected to the internet.

For newbies who haven't used the terminal, go to Applications/Utilities. The terminal app is in there.

Copy this text: telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl

Open the terminal and paste the above text. Hit return. Relax and watch.


You can stop it by just closing the window or quitting the application.

If at a later date you want to see it again you can open the terminal and hit the up arrow until the above command appears. Of course if you use your terminal a lot, it may be way up there.
