iWeb problem

Anyone have any experience with iWeb?

I put up a web page which is still on dot Mac and then had a hard drive crash. Got most of my data back, but the 'Domain' file in the User/computername/library/iweb was not recovered. Any thoughts on how to get back to doing updates on the page without redoing EVERYTHING???

1. I gave up too soon

I found the file in buried down in a subfolder.

I'd been trying to find it with Spotlight, but that kept giving me too much.

So, for anyone using iWeb - find that hidden file, copy it to another hard drive or a CD or something and everytime you update your site, RE copy it.

2. So, do you like iWeb?

I'm thinking about upgrading to iLife '06, mainly for Garage Band, but I really look forward to trying out iWeb.

3. I like it - I don't like it

There are some limitations as to themes and such, though it is possible to design your own. And if you're good at design you can import your own graphics.
I found out, the hard way, that EVERYTHING for your site is kept in what appears to be a single document, called domain. It is a package not a doc and you can open it and fiddle around.
iWeb uses CSS on every page and duplicates a lot of things rather than using one graphic and then doing a reference to that. Seems to make the page browse a little faster.

I'm going to be building another page for business, but will be using Adobe GoLive.

I've ditched Garage Band just because it's a processor hog and I don't have the time to fool with it. But I've heard it's great for people with midi keyboards and lots of RAM.
